The bee symbol is associated with life, creativity, hard work,
community, success, prosperity, and abundance. In religious history,
honey bees
represent the human soul. The Beehive represents the human body,
with honey
symbolizing the rich inner life that we can enjoy within ourselves.
The Bee's
honey is one of the most valued and appreciated natural substances
known to
mankind. The honey of the Bee has many uses in society, it is used
in the making
of various cosmetic products and is used in the treatment of various
ailments. And
most important of all, the honey bee is responsible for the
pollination of flowers
and agricultural products. We do not think of how useful Bees are to
us and our
lives. We tend to take them and other pollinators like butterflies
and hoverflies
for granted. However, they are vital for our healthy food supplies
and are also
important for pollinating flowers and the nutritious foods that we
produce and
eat. Bees play an extremely important role in keeping nature and our
cycle of life
going.
It is said that honeybees are among the most important creatures on
Earth. Different cultures see them as messengers of the Gods. Many
people rely upon bees for the wonders that they can do for our
physical health and spiritual minds.
The bee has symbolized many things to different people throughout
time. In ancient Egypt, the bee was a symbol of royalty and power.
This comes from the legend that the bee was born from the tears of
Ra, who was an important sun God of the ancient Egyptians. The ruler
of Lower Egypt was often referred to as "He who belongs to the Bee"
As a symbol of love, the bee was associated with Cupid during the
Renaissance period. Bees often appeared in Renaissance paintings
depicted as stinging Cupid, who represented the god of love and
desire. The artistic symbolism deals with the blindness of love and
leaping into a passion without regard to the consequences. Cupid was
often shown dipping into honey, without regard to the potential
danger of being stung. The Renaissance paintings were a little
warning to humans to "Beware of love's sting." As for Cupid's
love-sting ... protect your kissable lips with ISOMA Lip & Skin Balm.
